What's going on -- here's what's going on with Coyote on Peyote.
I'm shooting for a June release date.
My good friend Lauren Guinnip is currently doing an editing pass. The story is written, the visuals exist, but Lauren is going through to check out the dialogue and make my work a little more coherent.
I'm happy that I have a female artist and a female dialogue editor. I'll be honest, I wasn't aiming for that purposely, but if I want to strengthen the voice of the characters, obviously I need a female writer to double-check my work.
Cindy is a MENACE! She gives me 10 pages a week of absolutely beautiful artwork. She's a machine and I'm not keeping up at all.
I'm currently going through all of the colored pages she's given me. (82/135) pages.
When I do my notes and when I wrote the script and when I work on Coyote on Peyote at all -- I have a playlist that I created.
It's actually the start to my process, I listen to music and visualize the scenes in my head, then when I write the script I listen to the music the whole time.
Anyway. Look out for the Coyote on Peyote rollout -- I'm ramping it up a little more.
